"Open sew" typically meets the third Thursday of every month from September through June with activities starting at 9:00 AM. Sometimes it may be the second Thursday of the month due to events at the community center. This is a sewing session where people come and work on what ever project they currently have in progress. Work on charity quilts often happens during these open sews as well. These are lots of fun and a great way to get to know our members.

Our quilt show is called "The Autumn Festival of Quilts." It is held every other year and our next one will be in September, 2019. Please see the page dedicated to our quilt show. This is a large show with over 150 quilts, lots of vendors, prizes and a wonderful cafe.

We also have a smaller quilt show ever year at the Pepperell Library in their art gallery. This typically runs for a month from the middle of March to the middle of April. It is open when ever the library is open and is free. This show typically has approximately 50 quilts. There is a small reception with refreshments on the first Saturday of the show.

Workshops are offered throughout the year and are typically offered on Saturday. Please see the page dedicated to our workshop schedule.

Our guild offers a retreat twice a year, typically one in October and one in April. These offer several days of constant sewing at a resort hotel with wonderful people. Meals are included in price of the retreat. Both retreats are held at the same location, The Valley Inn in Waterville Valley, NH. Marie Anderson is the point person for the Fall Retreat and it will be held from October 18, 2018 to October 21, 2018. Cath Hallsworth is the contact person for the Spring Retreat being held April 4, 2019 to April 7, 2019. Most people come on Fridays to the retreats but you can come on Thursday. We book the inn for Thursday but meals are not included for Thursday night since we don't have everyone. We have the use of the Summit Suite to prepare meals for people who arrive early and are " very serious" about their quilting!
