"Open sew" typically meets the third Tuesday of every month from September through June with activities starting at 10:00 AM. This is a sewing session where people come and work on whatever project they currently have in progress. Work on charity quilts often happens during these open sews as well. These are lots of fun and a great way to get to know our members.
We have a smaller quilt show ever year at the Pepperell Library in their art gallery. This typically runs for a month from the middle of March to the middle of April. It is open whenever the library is open and is free. This show typically has approximately 50 quilts. There is a small reception with refreshments on the first Saturday of the show.
Workshops are offered throughout the year and are typically offered on Thursday or Saturday. Please see the page dedicated to our workshop schedule.
Our guild offers a retreat twice a year, typically one in October and one in April. These offer several days of constant sewing at a resort hotel with wonderful people. Meals are included in price of the retreat. Both retreats are held at the same location, The Valley Inn in Waterville Valley, NH. Lorri Wortzler is the point person for the Fall Retreat. Cath Hallsworth is the contact person for the Spring Retreat. People come on Fridays to the retreats but many come on Thursday to extend their sewing time.
